Yes it will fit a 6s just fine! i have used them in 2 electric conversions now beacuse of their big size. I've run Turnigy nano-tech 5000mah 6's in them and zippy 5000mah 5s with no issues!
I usually add a little foam to the bottom and a little velcro to my packs and the tray as well.

Can anyone please tell me what the difference is between the muggy and lst2 diff cases..I'm talking about the outer case that houses the complete diff...reason being is I put my lst2 diff into a muggy housing whilst I was waiting for my order to come in and I thought it would work..but I put it on the front and it was skipping teeth both under acceleration and braking in my xxl..I've put both side by side and they look like the same size..obviously the muggy housing is a black plastic whilst the lst2 is a blue aluminium..
Thing is..I'm running lst2 diffs in my muggy with muggy housings (black plastic) with no problems whatsoever ...and yes they are shimmed
I always use to think that if a diff skipped teeth under acceleration it would be the rear diff and under brakes it would be the fronts..but I've also ran the truck with just the rear diff in with the proper lst2 blue housing and it runs fine..this is doing my head in!... HELP!!

The cases are exactly the same, other than material they are made out of. The aluminum ones are generally better because the cases don't flex. I don't think your issue is the cases, its more the diffs being warn or shimmed improperly. Did you check your shimming when you changed housings? they may require different shimming

Can the front diff skip under acceleration tho?
The reason why I ask is that I installed a Complete new diff that was shimmed to perfection
And when I've opened that diff up it still looks new with no chipped teeth..
The front one is old and is going to be replaced soon but didn't look the best..a couple of teeth looked slightly chipped but nothing I would think are that bad

The difference is gearing. IIRC Muggy is 11/45 and lat is 12/43. If you use the wrong pinion it won't mesh properly.

Bugger, should have stated that this problem is with my xxl..
I'm finding that on takeoff it doesn't click that much but definately on braking
So I know it's the front diff but always thought that if a diff clicked on acceleration it is definately the rears and not the front

If everything is good then the only possible problem is the plastic diff housing that's causing flex under stress (crown/pinion slippage).
Hope you will get your lst2 diff housing soon

Check the diff outdrives on your tranny , the dogbone only fits into the outdrive a few mm and after the outdrives slot wears into a little ramp the dogbone can skip out of the out drive cause the diff cases have a little movement to them .
Try holding the back wheels and VERY carefully give it some throttle and see if thats where the sound is coming from .....
