0.060 Lexan just like the Proline Bodies

Looks pretty nice. Are you desigining it for a specific truck?

Default Wow .060

That's pretty thick. I just can't seem to get my self to copy a real car or truck even thowe now I have to cause I'm doing some ROAR Pancars and sedans. The truck I'm doing is my design. I got asked to turn a D/H-1 (see pic) into a truck but it lost it's intimidating look so I decided to start from scratch . I can do .060 no problem but I would think that thick of a body woulden't be flexable enough and would crack or chunck . Have you tried .040 or should I just shut up and use .060 LOL The Pic. is my top selling sedan I put a blower on a few of them and was thinking about putting a blower on the truck

Nice work!

I guess I have only had the Proline 0.060 bodies. I suppose an .040 body would work just fine but the .060's seem to be plenty flexible, and strong as well. Based on the looks of your other body, you know what your doing and you have agood feel for what works. I guess I am thinking durability for offroad purposes?

Well I haven't done a truck in years so I'm trying to get a little input I'll probley end up giving you a choice of .040 or .060 One more question do you prefer the box to be opened or tonno cover

Personally, I prefer a tonno covered bed. In addition, a spoiler on the back of bed would make it a nice looking race body.

Sorry for the thread hijack...but it's related...

What are you guys using to create the molds for the body creation? I want to create a vw bug and bus body for my RC10T4 (I'm a VW nut...), but I don't know where to start...Any information, links, tell me to use search, etc., would be appreciated
