Savage SS......kits help you learn how to fix things if you ever need to, upgrade things, add hop-ups, etc. It is really not as hard as it sounds, and is very rewarding, and you might find you like putting it together just as much as running the truck. I bought a Savage SS a little while ago, and put it through MAJOR abuse.....Im talking landing upside down on pavement, flipping it literally twelve or more times in the air after a jump, You see what I mean.....serious stuff that will trash most rc's. The only thing I have broken is the spur gear(slipper not adjusted right--melted), the body(seriously, do you really expect those things to last---just a crack in it), and the most serious thing is the cooling head(remember that landing upside down on pavement???----three foot drop straight to pavement, and an exposed cooling head-body set too low to protect-and fabricated white metal dont mix) So my honest and experienced vote has to go out to the HPI's Savage SS. Also, if you dont want a kit, you can always get the .25 RTR;)
