I was just wondering, what is the biggest tire size I can put on a Savage 25 without hindering its acceleration/ power? I don't want to do the 46 conversion yet but want bigger tires for mostly backyard bashing. Will going with bigger tires chew up my tranny? I have already done the 4 gear mod for differentials. I was looking at the big joe's tires and 40 series rims. The truck looks so much better with bigger wheels and tires I think.

You can put any tire on any truck as long as they fit and you put lower gearing to help bottom torque unless you want a 200mph truck if you want alittle more bottom end after you change gearing use 30 percent fuel
