e maxx help
 

my friend has a old e maxx it the first one that that was put out is old. he like to have it faster. and theres no parts out there for it. it has the stock esc it the evx with the stock motors. help he calls me and i dont know how to tell him its a out dated car.

i mean you could tell him to look at hobby partz brushless set ups or tell him to save up and buy a new maxx

can i put 2 7 cell packs in it and gear up some?

they make metal gear relpacements for the tranny in the older maxx. so change gears and install mild bl system

7 cells wont fit in older maxx but 2 2s lipos will. depending on motor he installs, 2 2s lipos will be plenty fast.

Here's some video of my old 3906 that I bought when they first came out. BL power and it's a Hoot to drive. China motor, ESC, servo, with drivetrain mods and it's dependable and tough.
