i have one in my savage. excellent engine i have it geared with the robinson hard coated spur and clutchbell. 52/14 and it is faster then the stock savage with the stock gearing. pulls wheelies when shifting into second. it also is good on gas. the only problem i found is the turbo plug is not easy to come by my lhs does not carry them in stock they have to be ordered. also the turbo plug seems to be affected by cold weather the engine does not run when its colder then 30 degrees.

forget the pull start on it get a shaft start (the hpi works great
but the engine stripped the gears in the starter so use a drill)

forgot to mention it was 50 degrees out the engine temps at 208 and was tuned perfect and it was running high speed up and down my block for about 30 mins.

what kind of mods need to be done to fit this in to a 1:10 MT like a t-maxx? Any ideas? (sorry for asking questions in your thread, I figure its better to ask while we're on the subject instead of making another thread)

any standard .21 conversion should work fine for the tmaxx

you might have problems with the xtm kit. its a tight fit with the tank you have to grind the slots in the chassis a little bigger for .25 and bigger. my tmaxx has the dynamite which is also a great engine with a great price. the wasp .28 works perfectly with the hpi roto start nothing mods needed. just figured i would let everyone know that.
