You just gotta look for them. The one particular auction I was thinking of was a while ago, they come and go all the time. Just gotta do some homework and hunt them down.

No kidding, cen diffs. Cool man, thanks for the info.

I should have some more updates next week. I have been working on my daughters Race Clods this week so I am gonna get started on the Yellow and Black Thunder on Monday.

Thanks for stopping by and viewing my thread! I appreciate all the compliments on the rigs.

I got all the differential units out yesterday to start getting these ready to go. I had a couple used units that had not seen hardly any run time but one had a busted piece in it so I wanted to take them completely apart and inspect them plus fill them with new oil. The center diff is virtually brand new but I have to change the oil and put the center spur gear on. So lets get to it!

UE / Ofna Spyder 8's for F/C/R

The guts do not look too bad on this front one.

Got it filled and ready to go, 10K and Gorilla Snawt for the front and a good shot of Moo-slick on the cases and bearing seats and a good soaking on the bearings themselves.

Rear guts were missing the small spyder shims so I had to dig through my diff parts and find some. Glad I took these apart! 7K weight going in the rear.

These cases turned out pretty sweet with the yellow anodizing.

I will be getting the center diff done today. The front diff was a piece of cake to shim and get rolling smooth but the rear one was a bummer. Had to take that thing apart a bunch of times to get the shimming done correctly but I managed to find the sweet spot. Another cool thing about these mats is that you can leave a shop towel on it for the greasy stuff and it still keeps the parts in place! The magnetic surface is great. Stay tuned!

I installed the 46T center spur gear and it fits like a glove in the RC Monster Center Diff Mount.

The trio! haha

Here is what the layout will look like. Motor forward on this build.

Starting to look like a truck.....
