Angry new Traxxas 3.3

I bought a new 3.3 and went to break it in and it wouldn't start and I Çalled traxxas tech support I adjusted the fuel then it ran then on the 4th and 5th tank it kept running high in temp I called tech support again they said everything was okay that the breakin would still be fine then I finished and went to pull glow plug to change after break in and it was loose so I called traxxas and they said I should have checked the engine for any loose bolts or parts like it was my fault are u serious I paid for a new engine and I am supposed to double check there work wow they are awesome. I must have bought a monday or a friday engine just my luck.

You should ALWAYS double check everything before running your RC. Doesn't matter if it RTR or a brand new engine, you HAVE to check everything.

I would have to agree with crlock, when I got my team Orion engine most of the head bolts were loose,

I'm not a 100% sure but I think it says in the manual to check for any loose bolts ???

I will typically take my new 1's apart so I can seal them for airleaks. I'd have to agree with the aboves. Not placing blame but a quick check will save you quite a bit of time and $. Does it still run or did iot detonate?
