t maxx rebuild problem. please help

i have been using my new t maxx and got it really muddy

so i took all apart cleaned and oiled everthying that needed it but and i have put it back together

it looks fine but there is a big problem, when i push the front wheels forwards the rear wheels goe backwards and vice versa. so i will not start the engine because the wheels are fighting each other

also the slipper clutch pads have been changed and the slipper clutch does not not move when the wheels spin.

where have i gone wrong!

One of your diffs are in backwards. Either the front or rear diff needs to be flipped over, depending on which way you installed them.

This is the back diff, looking at it from the rear of the truck...

And this is the front one, same angle, looking towards the front of the truck...

A bit blurry, but thats my phone in night mode.

Raise the truck and rotate the spur gear clockwise looking from the front of the truck. Whichever spins backwards needs to be flipped. ;)

another very rookie question (i have to learn at some point) is the spur gear the one that is directly attached to the engine?

thank you vey much for your help

Clutch bell attaches to the engine, spur gear attaches to the transmission.

The screw heads the hold the diff housing together should be on the right side when looking at the front diff from the front of the truck and also on the right side when looking at the rear diff from the rear of the truck.
