I am wanting a pull start engine and I see that this one has one but could anyone tell my from your experience with this particular engine is the pull start on this engine any good? will it last?

That's a great engine for an Aftershock. But the Dynamite Big Red .28 is similar and probably cheaper.

In general though all pull-starts suck afaic. Eventually you'll be out somewhere and it'll just go on you. Losi Spinstart is FAR better.

For the LRP you need a Spinstart backplate. The Big Red has one already - and a pullstart. But I wouldn't recommend using it too much. No pullstart on a decent engine lasts long IMO.

Seems like all the larger displacment engines have crappy pull starts! Yeah I do enjoy the losi spinstart system alot its just more extra to carry to the track ya know?
