maybe im missing something....im almost positive the 3.3 mount works on the .26 max
Will i have the ofan mount with a big red which is .28 the ofan mount is wider it got some sort of offset on it but i does work. The 3.3 mount is not wide enough for my .28. There is no different fromt the 3.3 mount to the 2.5 they are the same mount. the only one that had a smaller mount was the .15i think. but yea you will have to gear it up too a little but dont go now more than a 22 cb after that it goes to hot. i have to get to work but ill check back later to see how it going.

A smaller spur gear gives you more top speed but slower acceleration and less runtime. You'll see faster acceleration and longer run time, but less top speed, with a larger spur gear.

It the only big block out that iknow of so yes if the stock dont work get it. but the only reason on going to a .22cb is to take away some of the tourqe. Other wise if you dont beef up the drivline you will snap thing easy.

will the os tm is a dricet drop in that what the tm stand for. that will work with the old mount. Did you buy the ofan one or what who said it dont work. and that 23 dont fit in the stock neither.

another guy with a sirio.23 and a picco .26 said he has both engines and mounts...he said the holes dont line up..im bout to sell this tmaxx and buy a revo...they cant give those revo big block conversions away.

you can get a big block conversion for revo dime a dozen on ebay but none for the tmaxx

traxxas sucks ass,i called them and they said they dont recommend putting anything but a 3.3 on a tmaxx..but they said the revos demand bigger engines.

is that because tmaxx's are faster from the factory?i think so

will i dont know why you are having a hard time but the pico ,26 does go into a tmaxx with the mount i have .28 in my maxx with an ofan pico mount. The maxx is not faster than a revo at all. The traxxas alwyas say use there stuff that just what company do. I did say in the beging this maxx is a bank breaker you have to have time and money it one of the hardest truck to build. what chassie do you have again.

will then you should have no problem with the mount it will fit. is your problem with the mount bolting to the engine and the chassie or is it that you can not get the engine on the mount. YOu know if you break the 3.3 cubic size to cc it just slightly smaller than a big block.21 right.

Yes the3.3 is .20...I knew that

My problem is the sirio .23 &the picco .26 max are both mid-block engines...the size of the picco mount is perfect, but the mounting holes on the sirio are narrower then on the mount....the ofna mount is genius because it's designed to fit the .26 max which is a mid sized block...but is really a bigblock mount.most big blocks are pretty much the same as far as mounting goes...but the picco .26 was an exception because it has big block mounting holes on a mid block, unlike the sirio .23.....which they don't make a mount conversion for mid-block engines

But os makes a .21 that is a big block, explain that one

YOu can not a grind a little on the stock to make the mid size fit. The only thing i can think of to do now is either sell that and buy something that does work. Now i have heard of people putting them in a maxx also. For the os it the size of the bore that makes it a big block which indeed does make the block just a little bigger as far as i know. Did you check out th beat your truck] they have a bigg basher thread there about the maxx maybe they can help. Sorry it does not work fo ya that does suck. Which i could have helped.
