Nitro is pretty hard to learn. At least for me. I would go to your local hobby shop and have them show you what you'll need to know

Does it start at all? If not then try priming the engine. To do this, you can either blow the exhaust or continuously pull your starter while, at the same time, having the exhaust pipe covered. Prime it for about 2 or 3 seconds after you see the fuel reach the HSN. Hope that helps :)

will is this after break in you cant get it to idle. I would try and change the plug if it is after break in. If you are trying to break it in i would look in the book and set the carb back to factory setting. We reallly need some more info on how it runs. I would also think if you have a track that is open now where you live go there on a weekend and see if someone there could help ya since your new to this they would be able to see what going first hand since some hobby shop will try charge to figure it out.

Other issue might caused it but since you never mentioned here, I assumed they are okay.

If only it CANNOT IDLE (can start), HOLD YOUR THROTTLE LIGHTLY TO MAINTAIN THE IDLING RPM, bring up the idling by turning in (clock-wise) the idling screw, feel (and hear) and release your throttle finger when the idling is up and okay.

Hope it helps.
