Re-Hooked

Howdy - Need a little help/guidance...I have one Issue and one question:

Issue: Got a Revo 3.3 chassis with a side mount pipe and BB engine. But I think the header is too short (see pic#1)



since I can't figure out a way to mount the throttle arm to open the carb correctly.






Can someone post a picture of a REVO with a side pipe and the carb linkage?

Question: IF I were able to get a longer side pipe header would it negatively impact power and performance?
