You both have nice rigs!! My maxx sits on a shelf as I've moved on years ago. But those get the old juices flowing. Wow!!

K1RC 12-28-2011 08:36 AM

Absolutely love the lightning!! Where did you get those wheels/tires? I bet they cost a packet!?

Where did you get them? Are they still produced?

ue-maxx 12-29-2011 08:20 AM

Nope they havent been forsale for years. The sun 7s are super rare and super expensive. I have a set, and a extra set of star 3 rims.

K1RC 12-29-2011 10:44 AM

Damn, they look so awesome, especially with that anodizing  Are there any similar?

ue-maxx 12-29-2011 10:57 AM

Spi racing makes a similiar type rim but no where near as nice.

keith09 12-29-2011 01:22 PM

Maxx builds were probably the most memorable builds for me. I sold my last maxx this past year to build a race revo that I spent 8 years building up.:( I started it when I was 12. The T-maxx will never die. I don't care what anyone says it is still a epic monster truck. And the upgrade choices for them limitless. They will never die.

Funnily enough I saw a link to them just prior to checking back here! I may buy some if I can get my maxx project started as they're not too expensive and look good :)

Please call me. I would really like to talk. This forum is not the place for open chit chat.
Thanks

Whats your problem? Its an opinion. No ones stuff is brtter than ue for any maxx. You can tell there is so much more work wnd designing in his.

Accordman 01-04-2012 09:10 PM

i like the supermotions

ironoutlaw 01-05-2012 06:10 AM

SPI wheels are just as nice and they are definitely lighter then those wheels , they offer anodizing plus the offset they have gives you the advantage on and off the track and not to mention a lifetime warranty

MiRatlhed 01-05-2012 07:56 AM

I would run an SPI wheel any day, they are very nice and are readily available in a bunch of different designs. Good price too. They are tested at the World Finals and I highly doubt there were any UE rims competing. Maybe but it is not like they are supporting the hobby like SPI is.

The UE line is special to me and I will always like it no matter what. But it is just a bummer we cannot get parts so more would be willing to run their trucks all the time.
