I am getting back into R/C and have an older Savage and am looking to get another one so my son and I can run them and play in the yard. I need to know of a solid radio system that won't have any issues with the power lines and will be plenty good for us to play in the yard with. My former experience is with a 3PJ and would like to stick with Futaba if possible. As of now I have been looking at the 3PL and 3PM and will need 2 of whatever I buy. Also, what servos do we need and is there a certain battery setup that is popular now for using in the trucks? When I last raced it was 3000's that were the big thing but things have changed over the last few years.

All help is APPRECIATED!
The 4PL is good for the money too if you don't want to spend too much like on a 4PKS.

I tried my friend's 4PL, it feels 'connected', not bad.

Man, i used to be hardcore buy American and all that, then one day my brother bought a Chinese HEI distrubtor for his Ford for 35 bucks, that looks identical to the MSD I bought for 285... Even came in the same box and packaging.

I love my Flysky 3ch! And I love HK! lol
