Default Losi XXL tuning help!!

Hi i have a Losi xxl and cant get it tuned just right. It will start but then will stall out. when starting, it needs some gas to start and if i dont keep feathering the throttle it dies right away. but even with feathering the throttle it will still cut out after maybe 10 seconds. thanks for all the help ahead of time.

I would return it to the factory setting then tune it from there. If it was used god know how it was tuned or if was tuned properly. Have you check to make sure you have good compression in the engine? I always start from the hsn and work from there, could also be a idle screw issue if you having to feather the throttle to keep it running. I'd remove the air filter and check to if you have a 1mm gap, a good reference it about the thickness of a credit card. Good luck
