Savage 4.6 problems
 

Hi guys,

Fairly new to the world of nitro and I'm loving my Savage X 4.6
After breaking a few thing I've got use to working on the truck. My main issue now is that it's eating Spur gears to quickly! I think after after reading on here that I'm over tightening the spur gear so I'll have a go at backing that off for my next gear. When I bought the truck 2nd hand it came with a metal spur gear made by Integy but I'm guessing I need an adapter to fit it as it's just the metal gear with colour ring. The standard spur is a lot thicker in the middle with the brass bushing inside.
Do I need a special adapter to use this gear? If so where's the best place you can recormend for them?
