Losi XXL - engine temp issues

I've been running my LOSI at what seems to be perfect tune but the engine temp (measured via the Spekrum telemetary) is running up to 250-280.... I get a little concerned by these levels and force myself to let the truck rest for a few minutes....

Anyone else encounter this issue?

The telemetry sucks, does not work. You can't go on what the numbers say. Do the ole' spit on the heat sink trick! :lol:

Those numbers are fine if its running good. Tune for performance, and the temeperatures will fall into line as long as you dont have an air leak, etc...

The telemetry is only good if you know how much it's off by. I ripped mine out during break-in.
