Default will LST2/XXL a-arms fit?

I ran my Original LST into a tree and snapped the right suspension arms. Will the LST2/XXL ones fit?

No, but I highly recommend outfitting the whole truck with RPM arms.... http://www.rpmrcproducts.com/products/losi/LSTParts.htm

Losi also makes an LST2-spec upgrade kit for the LST/A-Shock that gives you all of the same suspension and hub gear that's on the LST2/XXL: http://overdriverc.com/proddetail.ph...hock-Raminator

what about the suspension arms that connect to the a-arm? I was looking and they look similar.

Those ARE the A-Arms....

What are you thinking the a-arms are?

I am really confused now as to what you are asking.

XXL a-arms can not replace original LST a-arms.... You would have to replace the carrier hubs in the process as the original LST hubs are too narrow to fit on to the XXL arms.

In the performance upgrade kit that I listed above it comes with the updated c-hubs that fit the LST2/XXL a-arms along with the beefier axles that fit the newer hubs.

The RPM a-arms are bolt-on upgrades for the original LST and will fit with no fuss at all. If you do ever decide to upgrade to LST2 spec you can buy a spacer kit that will allow you to run the narrow LST RPM a-arms with the larger updated hubs.

Visual reference....

Left is original LST/Aftershock -- Right is LST2/XXL (notice the difference in size where the hubs attach)

Another huge performance upgrade that the LST2/XXL got were the CVD's.
Left is LST2 -- Right is original LST/Aftershock

Here's a picture of the hubs. The LST2/XXL uses a preset rear camber and eliminates the rear camber adjustment rod that is found on the original LST (which uses a carrier & knuckle setup).
LST2/XXL on left -- LST/Aftershock on right

If you wanted to get the LST2/XXL arms you would have to replace the hubs as well as the axles, as the original LST axles are smaller and designed differently than the LST2/XXL. But that's all you would need to do.

You actually save a lot of money going with the performance upgrade kit opposed to trying to piece the upgrade together.

I just looked and the a-arm's that I ordered come with the hub attached. What else will I need for them to fit on my LST? Will the axles fit the original diffs too?

here's a link

You just need axles w/ CVD's (2 sets you will need to do whole truck: http://cgi.ebay.com/Losi-LST-XXL-DRI...item33678d5122), steering knuckles (http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...7891&hlp=false) and a 14mm wheel hex set if you plan to use your current wheels/tires (http://cgi.ebay.com/LOSI-LOSB3514-WH...item43a60aaf9d). <--- Assuming you are running the stock wheels (or wheels with 14mm hubs).

Then you will be set!

The axle is in the hub, the CVD connects to the axle, and the CVD slides in to the differential outdrives (it's not "attached" per say).

I have the original hubs from the lst so will those clip onto the new a-arms? Or will I just have to buy spacers? I think i'm going to take the rear hub off and put the original ones on also if they make adapters/spacers

No. The original hubs are too narrow as stated previously. You can put LST2/XXL hubs on original LST arms with spacers, but not vice-versa.

Your easiest thing to do is just buy the RPM a-arms to prevent future breakage and you won't have to do any more upgrading.

You can always just buy stock replacements, but the original LST a-arms in all honesty are complete garbage and not beefy enough to support such a big truck for any amount of bashing.
