Custom E-Maxx help!!!!!

I am building/have built a full blown custom emaxx for bashing and racing. The only thing that is keeping me from running it is I don't know what size inner bearing to use/that fits on the axle carriers. I am running tekno axle carriers and losi lst xxl axles. I really need help fast so I can get this thing running.

Thanks,
Mustang63

Use a pair of calipers and take a measurement to find out... Most people probably wont know the answer to that off the top of their head.

+1 to the calipers.

Do you have any pics for your "full blown custom" e-maxx? I love to see cool personal "custom" machined aluminum work done! Did you build the chassis?

EDIT::weird: wait, just saw your sig. Thats not custom, thats bolt on. Never mind.:tire:

I have been looking and I don't think that I really need an inner bearing because there is almost no slop and I think I can fit a 15x21x4mm bearing in the axle carrier because there are different cut outs in the axle carriers. But I have found the reason there is an unacceptable amount of slop is the pillow balls. What do you recommend for good pillow balls so I don't have any slop and do I need pillow ball caps?

Im starting to worry here....

You have to have 2 wheel bearings in each carrier, if that is what you are asking. Your first run wont last long if you dont.

You also have to have the threaded caps that go over the pillow balls. Thats how you set the "play" your pillow balls have. Too tight and the suspension binds, too loose, and it will have slop.
