This is really a very fun truck! Just got mine a couple of months ago, and I'm impressed by its durability and ease of wrenching on. Too bad there's isn't a lot of hopups for it, not that it is needed (I love wrenching on my RCs as much as I bash them)

I just finished painting a new body for my MT4 G3 (just as in 10 mins ago), and here it is, before I destroy it from all my bashing

Can you spot what I've changed to the truck?

Thanks. Wish it was waterproof though. Would make cleaning up so much easier. Nowadays it takes me a good 30 mins to brush out all the dirt in the chassis

Motor and ESC are stock. It's surprisingly smooth and powerful. Using Gen Ace 4S 5000mah hardcase lipo.

I like the looks of those wheels and tires.. Are they as big as XXL/LST2 tires?

With that red trim they'd look good on my LST2...

There doesn't seem to be any extra room to run bigger batteries?

What kind of run times are you getting with these lipos?

I never run my RCs until the lipo cutoff kicks in. I get around 25-30 mins of bash time and my lipo usually come back with 3.78v per cell.

Just went out for a run in my neighbourhood skate park, and there were a few kids around. One of them was asking me to do some stunts, but since this was the first time I'm running the new shell, I declined as I couldnt bear the thought of scratching the pristine shell. After a wheelie gone bad scratching the shell, I told that kid "now I can do stunts"
Here's the result:

but it was good fun! Lots of jumping on the ramps!!!

Nice looking truck! Mine should be arriving anytime now My brother got one of these and after seeing how super smooth and bashworthy it is, I just had to have one also. It puts my Traxxas vehicles to shame...

I notice there are no more red bits on your chassis and wheels. Does that mean all the red plastic is dyeable with Rit dye?

Thank you! I liked the fact the truck is super adjustable and can handle the jumps very well (can't say so for my lipos thou. My hardcase lipo casing split open from all the jumping)
The chassis is dyeable, but the beadlock rings are not. I tried to dye them and they turn out half blackish and deformed Bought new ones and spray painted them instead to match

Excellent! That's good to know. Dyeing the parts was one of the first things I was going to try so you probably just saved me a few bucks.

So I've been searching through the net for more stuff about the MT4 but I haven't really found too much info on it. The only review I've read about it was on bigsquid rc. What gives? It's a pretty awesome truck IMO but it looks like its being overlooked and under rated. Anyone else feel this way?
