Brian, I put some OFNA diff lock putty in there which I believe is close to 100K. I literally have to spoon it out of the container. That along with raising the rear ride height made the truck more controllable.

The Leopard motors do seem to be the exact same as the Tacon. I have 1 of each and I can not find a difference.

The marine ESC worked well until the 3rd pack then it started sputtering at take off and reverse went dead, though it still had breaks. So instead, since I'm on a limited budget with this one, I went with an old Mamba Max that I had lying around. I'm running a Turnigy BEC anyways so I disabled the MM BEC and also added 3 extra 470uf, 35V caps to it and it's working awesome. I also added a fan to it and after a 5000 MAH pack it only got up to 135*. I'm hoping to order a Turnigy Trackstar 150A ESC when they come back in to stock.

Here is a short video of it in front of my house. I really need more room to open it up

Thanks for the report on the Turnigy marine esc - and glad to hear the MM is working for you.

Here's another place to get the Trackstar (Toro), although it's a little more expensive than HK:
