ok, i got the 2070 125 oz-in. servo for my steering and the 2018 i think its only 42 oz-in. servo for my throttle on my t-maxx. if i put the 2075 blue 125 oz-in. for my throttle servo, will that help any? like give me a quicker acceleration and stronger braking?

If your going to replace a servo, don't go back to traxxas dude. Thats worse then integy:lol:

well i got this 2075 waterproof servo for $16 and its like new. i want to try and stick with traxxas on certain things. i had the 2075 on my rustler and it was great! plus i dont want to spend $50 or more on a servo. the 2070 steering has the same ratings as the 2075, but the 2075 is digital and waterproof.

yea i hear a lot of good things about hitec. i just wanted to keep it traxxas plus i like the blue look of the servo. i just need one more for the steering servo.

Your too into the "blue look" buy a hitec and spray it blue then...... that way it will match and be a much nicer unit:lol:

well, you seen my rustler. i just like to get a theme going with my rc's. i dont see any problems with traxxas. i mean yea theres servos out there way better. but for the use i do, these work fine.

The 2070 is digital too and There decent servos. Ive ran the 2075s in several appkications and there great for there price

:weird:^^ Im more about longevity and functionality over appearance. That servo you want to use is plactic geared and will eventually wear out a lot faster then a metal gear servo in which the Savox, JR, Hi-tec good servos are. I understand that it will be used on throttle and there is not much force needed but thats not the point. You want something thats going to last a long time, you do not want to skimp out on servos. The cost difference between the servo you want to use and a good metal gear servo is a mere few dollars.

If there's anything, you do not want to be cheap about is the servos you choose. The servos are what controlls the rig, if they go bad at speed the servos are not going to be the only thing that needs replacing:lol::cool:

The 2070 works well on throttle / brake. I think the 2075 is slower, either way you want to be sure the failsafe spring can still push it back if you lose power. If you're considering a hitec 645mg you may wanna look at the futaba s3305. The hitec requires a new horn for the different spline count.

yea i got a failsafe. if my radio goes out of range or looses power, the brake is applied.

Yeah those servos work great on the rustler, but you're talking about a T-Maxx here. The rustler is A LOT smaller, and 2WD, the Maxx is 4WD with much bigger tires.

The 2075 will be fine on throttle, but I agree with most, get a better servo for steering. They may seem to work fine now, but you will see in the future.

You can get one of those Savox servos for probably around 50 bucks and you'll never have to worry about that part of your truck again.

I guess I should've looked that one up. A faisafe is good too, but if your servo burns up, the spring will push it back.
I agree with boom and got_nitro though, spend the loot and be done with it.
