Put the body on a wheely king then it might make sense... since when do MTs have independent suspension hahaha
|
LOL so dumb looking I agree with him ^ toss a body on the wheelie king looks more correct and is a lot cheaper
|
Where are you getting $320, stormer has them for $199, a little bit more than the xl5 pede. As I commented in the other thread on these trucks, marketing wise I think its a heck of an idea. Realistic looking enough for the kids that primarily go to the monster jam events, and cheap enough for the parents that take them to consider buying one. BTW, since when do short course trucks have independent suspension, at least the ones the r/c trucks are modeled after
|
they do on the front haha but im not saying there right either..... do you work for traxxas geeze...

I also agree that these are a traxxas fail. Since when do Monster trucks come as a 2wd?????
Good idea overall but geez, at least make them 4wd for the full effect! |

what traxxas needs to do is come out with a 1/8th scale already. Even tho the bodies look cool it is a total FAIL.
|
I agree it's a fail in terms of a true scale R/C Monster truck, but I think what Traxxas is trying to do here is cater to the younger R/C-ers out there.
Let's face it, 75% of the audience at a monster truck show is under 18 years of age. The rest of the people there are the parents, and guys like me... Just big-ass kids. It's a marketing thing that they're trying to pull off here, again focused on the younger R/Cers out there. Admittedly a grave digger would be a cool ride for a 10 year old who doesn't have the budget to get into a LiPo powered Revo for example... For what it is, and whom it's intended for, not a bad R/C IMO. |
i showed them to my 7 year old son and he went crazy over them! there plenty fast enough for him. i think they should make like 4wd and brushless models for the older people. like the 4wd stampede. but i would buy one for my kid! i also agree with dale^^^ i wish traxxas would start making 1/8 buggies/truggies nitro and electric.
|
Thanks for sharing your thoughts... I totally agree with you guys..

Traxxas has the smarts to make a 1/8th scale buggy and truggy. Look at the slash 4x4 the main chassis layout is not to far off from being a 1/8th buggy and if they wanted to they could take the revo and make the chassis a lil wider and flatten it out a lil bit and they would have a good truggy. but from what i see traxxas has gotten a tad lazy and are milking there old products by changing the color scheme and tires.

Hi, do you think these bodies would fit the Kyosho Mad Force Kruiser by size ? Thanks
