They are finicky motors, but once tuned run pretty well. It's much better on a Tmaxx than Revo IMO. enjoy it! looks good.

i have like twice. im close. just when i give it full throttle it bogs sometimes. or after running it fast, and i come to a stop after it idles down it stalls sometimes.
Sounds like your LSN is too fat. If it bogs out of the hole with lots of smoke and sounds like it wants to die out it's too rich. Lean it out, your idle will go up so you just turn it down. You want to lean it until you get that nice launch with no hesitation. Turn your idle down or "out" until it's got a nice low idle or where you like it. Make LSN adjustments like 5 min on a clock, very small adjustments while tuning. If it starts bogin on the top end while you are at a wide open throttle (WOT), thats a lean bog, you would have to turn your HSN out or open.

Thats what I was forgetting! My Savage has been doing the same thing with the Axial 28 1S in there. I knew it was something simple, but I just couldn't figure out why it wanted to bog from the holestart. I'll have to remember to make that adjustment when I get my gearbox fixed! Thanks for the advice, even though not directed at me! |

I am not sure what you run for fuel. If it is Traxxas throw it out your window. I had TONS of tuning issues and inconsistent running with it and then I was told to use Byron race fuel. I will never go back! I couldn't even make a main when I was racing it with Traxxas fuel but now its no problem! Also tune it with the tank full so it is not higher than the carb. If higher, it forces fuel into the carb and makes it run rich at first then lean out as it runs. If you tune it with the tank below the carb just fill it up and let it run rich at first! good luck!
