Default earthquake 3.5 trouble help

ehy i just got this thing it is my first nitro anything.. i was out breaking in the engine and the wheels stoped turning but was still reaving up i9 have striped down the spurgear prwtty good can i move over the engine to fix this tell i get a new spurgear and also what other spar parts should i have on hand to make lifw easyer. so can i do this and if so do i have to readjust my carberator all over agian i just fixed that problem and shit oh well come on guys help me out

Most likely you won't be able to save the spur gear by sliding the motor closer. Sometimes, if the spur isn't chewed up really bad, that will work though. Otherwise get a new spur gear, and a bottle of Blue Locktite. When you go to set the gear mesh with the new gear, make sure you use the locktite on the motor mount screws so this doesn't happen again to you. Also make sure you set the gear mesh properly with a piece of notebook paper.
