Default Clutch assembly problems for E-Revo 1/8th

Hello all,

My entire clutch assemble got destroyed when it was being powered by two 3s lipo's. Damaged parts are 3 Friction Pads, Traxxas Slipper Pressure Plate, Spur Gear.

What can I do from preventing damage to my new installed clutch assembly?

If you're looking for upgrades, Robinson Racing has a heavy duty slipper assembly. http://www.robinsonracing.com/catalog/e-revo.html
Only thing is, they only have 60T and 65T spurs....

Keep it tighter. What probably happened is it was a little loose burned pads heat softened the spur gear and bam. Your day is over.

+1 - once they get even a touch loose running 6S, its gone. Replace everything, even the nut and cut the adjustment in at least half. Try again - and oh yes, buy plenty of spares!
