.26 Maxx Engine block defect?

I'm having issues with this engine since break in. It has about 3/4 of a gallon of 20%. Seems to flame out and I chase the tune waaay too much. Temps never above 270 degrees. I know they are sometimes finicky but I have 7yrs in the hobby and have run my fair share of mills.

Anyway i opened her up and found this :( Looks like it's a defect at the braze line (for lack of better word). it's located right behind the bearing and you can see wear at that location on the crank :(

What do you guys think?

yeah I agree. I will be contacting Picco/Ofna first thing tomorrow. hope they take care of this because it's obvious not a user error issue.

Anyone have warr experience with Picco/Ofna? How did it go? I would hate to be out a week or two while they inspect the motor :flaming: Since it's so obvious I think they should send a motor ASAP and I'll send this one back

I'm bummed. This is my sons ride and now it's back to the 3.3 :(
