Hey Adam, been a long time. I too have been working on building a rig up. Like always I'm always the odd guy at the races. I have always and still continue to run the underdog chassis . Lots of things have changed. We should catch up. I'll pm my #. It will be cool to chat . Later.

Michigan Monsters of RC is a club that Jon, owner of ZRP Racing, owns and runs where a bunch of people run ZRP racing chassis and thus have become "Team ZRP". Want to make it clear that they are not Team ZRP races as everyone is welcome. I'd say its like any rc track, racers tend to gravitate to what the hobby shop best supports and what the fast guys are running. Most who race with us gravitate to running Jon's products because he can offer product support at these races. Also with people like Russ Bryant also racing there they are drawn to the ZRP line because he can offer setup advice. Though not necessarily true now, ZRP chassis' were easily accessible at the time so a bunch of people jumped on them, especially those that race at the Michigan Monsters of RC series. So at big races like the Showtime Solid Axle Showdown tons of people have ZRP chassis' so the chances of having a great photo of them is significantly better than other chassis' that run at races in fewer numbers. I just choose the ones that I think are the best or tell the best story.
Buckland and ROWDY RACING like this.

How strong or popular is the 4wd pro lite class at Michigan monsters? I have a wheely King with stretched wheelbase? Maybe an eventual 2.2 pro truck if it would be the better class .

Check their FB group, I believe they are in their planning/off-season currently.

What he said above. They are currently in the off season and are also in the process of finding a new location to race at. Check the facebook page for more info on all of that. For a first time racer the prolite class would be a good starting point, its what used to be called novice/rookie, but was changed to sound fancier. Overall it averages 2-5 racers if I recall correctly.

Hey guys. I stupidly sold my original clod many years ago and now for sentimental reasons looking to re make it. Does anyone recognize this body? I can’t find anything on google. Thanks for looking!

Just finished this thread!! Some nice trucks in here

Picked up an esp 4 chassis a few weeks ago and have been busy...

Currently running 70% max power. Plenty of power running stock pinion and motor temps haven’t gone over 135. Will try to advance the timing some this weekend I guess ???

the castle b link makes setup easy .. changes even easier through castle app

- ESP 4 chassis
- new clod axles/gear sets
- txt-1 wheels/tires
- full bearings
- hr aluminum hubs (front)
- hr aluminum spool (rear)
- hr had servo saver
- castle sw4 esc
- castle 4600kv motor
- castle BEC WP2.0
- castle b link
- hitec s645mg
- carbon fiber axle mount steering kit
- carbon fiber rear lockout
- 2s 50c 5000 lipo
- 99% stainless steel hardware

If anyone has the following available lemme know

3.5” shocks
adjustable motor mounts
body mounts

Thanks!

Has the wide fender flares, double roll bar with the extension down, semi molded front grill. Says on the back of the tag rc10 truck, so I assume thats what it was made for? Think its discontinued, but the new owner seems open to doing small runs of older bodies so maybe contact them.

@username1

Be careful with all stainless hardware. Especially where bottom links are concerned on clods with aftermarket chassis', they usually end up bent and require being cut to remove. Stainless on the chassis is fine, just where large amounts of force are applied with these trucks can often pose a headache with stainless hardware.

Yours is a proline. I was referring to the person above who needed help figuring out what his body is.
