Rustler- it's shitty fast. Faster than a T Maxx. They're pretty tough too.

Rustler, it can go places the Mini-T can't. It should also be more durable.

If it's the E- rustler I don't think it's faster than a T-maxx. The nitro rustler however IS faster.

I would go for the rustler over the Mini-t ONLY if this is your first car. The mini-t can only be ran in certain areas. You'll be able to bash the rustler more and make it WAY faster than a Mini-t (excluding the brushless set-ups, which you could also do to the rustler BTW)
I would actually suggest the nitro rustler because like phatkat said it's damn fast right out of the box.

Get the Rustler, why not "keep it in the family" so to speak.
Besides the Mini-t can't go anywhere near the places you can go with a rustler.
To top it off you could even race the rustler in stadium truck class and be competetive with similar trucks

The only reason to choose the Mini-T over the Rustler is if you're wanting something to drive IN your house. Otherwise......Rustler.

What is it you want to do with these?

You may want to throw the Duratrax Evader series into the mix as well, you get alot of vehicle and a warranty as well for close in price to a rustler.
