anyone know what tmaxx shocks to use for best performance

i recently bought an all aluminum tmax with mostly integy aftermarket stuff. upgrade to a rb tm523. had integy mrs4's. i tried to get a decent stiff suspension with some travel and ble a cap off then switched to traxxas big bores.
ihad to load the springs to the point where i elongated the lower shock eye that holds the ball. so i went back to the integy's in the rear but have a softer and abit higher ride in the back and alot of downward travel in the front when breaking hard.
i mostly put in the back yard and at the local fields. can anyone help with a good set of shocks that have good adjustability??

These can be set up to run as a 4 shock setup. You won't find better. I'm using a set of 4 on a FLM Ext Emaxx. They have come back in stock and parts are available. Used to have to find them used on eBay.

Sure, just buy two sets - little more expensive that way, but both 4 and 8 shock setups work on stock Tmaxx and Emaxxes. I'm not familar with the Integy alum, but if it lets you run dual shocks, it should work with 8 of the US Supershocks too.

your better off trying to put some 16mm wide shocks from a truggy on..they are a lot better then the overpriced supermaxx aka. OFNA shocks.

I am using eight front shocks from an older Hotbodies 1/8th scale buggy all the way around on one of my T-maxx trucks. There not really much, if any larger, than the stockers but all aluminum body and the spring rates and valving seem to be a little better. It lowered it just a touch, and firmed it up quite a bit. They are not threaded so you still have to use the spring spacers. If i can find my camera I will post a few pics of it. Overall it works very well.
