Default tmaxx cvd axle install

hello,
ive read alot of the p[osts but am a new member. just got back into nitro after a three year out. alot great stuff here
question, i have cvd's for the tmaxx and wanted to know if i need to remove or loosen the diff to get to the set screw there. its visible but looks like its in just dfar enough that i cant access it. if i remove wheels , knuckles etc, will the axle slide enough to acces it?
thanks

No, you shouldn't have to loosen anything about the diff. There is an access groove molded into the bulk that lets you get to the drive pin set screw that will release the stock cvd.
