Does the E-Revo jump well?
 

I'm looking into getting an E-Revo for bashing. My concern is that it will not be the best jumper due to it's lower, race inspired suspension. So what is the word on an E-Revo surviving air time?

The e-revo is a very good jumper but will not be as durrable as a savage, for bashing of course, Depending on how hard you bash I say e-revo, But if your a hardcore guy, go with the savage:sneaky:

I have an older Revo 2.5 and a buddy has the ERBE, and he can certainly outjump my lil old truck :flaming:

The Erevo is a fantastic jumper! I jump mine all the time on a set of skate board ramps. I've even done this at full speed, Dont let the low ride height and soft suspension full you, it takes jumps with ease and lands like its a soft marshmallow.
As far as durability the only real issue I had was with the rear suspension set-up. Traxxas uses pivot balls in the rear upper and lower A-arms. A threaded rod is used to control the rear tow-in. If you cart wheel hard enough you can knock the rear toe out of alignment. To cure this, RPM makes a tru track set up that eliminates all the trouble parts.

I have a E-Revo Brushless Edition coming next week. At first I wasn't sure about getting another Traxxas product. The selling points where the more race oriented suspension and hex hardware. I recently sold my Savage 4.6 and one thing that bothered me was the fact that it had phillips hardware.
