Default E-Revo with Turnigy Brushless setup?

Has anyone tried the 150amp Turnigy (or Hobbywing) brushless esc and motor combo in their E-Revo?

I will be doing about 50/50 split bashing and fun races (not too competive) and I want to keep within a budget.

I have seen this combo sell for $190 brand new and wondered how it performed. I know I can get a MMM V3 combo for the same money used.

I don't want to spend over $200 so if anyone knows of another good system to use for that much money please let me know.

All opinions appreciated.

The Hobbywing Combo (particularly the newer ones) are pretty good, more reliable than the MMM

Best combo is the Castle Motor and Hobbywing ESC IMO

You mean like this. BTW it fits perfectly in the stock location and uses the stock mounting holes. Like it was made for it

This is the new XeRun Hobbywing
