is there any replacement engine i can put in my t-maxx 2.5 that will out run a mgt

There are some "Mid Size" 18's out there that should work well. The Sirio STX-18 should drop right in. There are some others out there as well.

There is a new .21 small block from OFNA/Picco that is designed to be a direct bolt-in replacement for the T-Maxx. I have not seen one yet but I will probably give it a try.
