WOW...i LOVE the ninja. i just finished breaking it in and tunning it..OMFG... i forgot how much this motor screams compaired to the 28xz ....it like compairing a bad ass offroad .21 to a onroad .21.....the ninja is more responsive, revs faster and just makes for more fun at the controller....when i post this vid your gonna tink its a modded .21 by the way it sounds....
I never found the stock XZ to have that great of a top end either...not a slouch by any means, just doesn't have the scream most of my other engines do....

My clockwork modified OS 28 screams like a banshee.... But its pretty much undriveable...

i just recently got a os .28xz, it replaced my ninja .28....well while i was breaking in and enjoying my 28xz i sent the ninja off to get freshened up.....the ninja got resized, i put TKO ceramic bearing front and rear, and did a littile porting on the crank case.
this will be a PIC and VIDEO comparison of the two....they will both run the same gearing, fuel and pipe (18-36...o'donnel 20%...086) and will be ran in a REVO. i will get the top speed of both using a radar gun and the tourqe will be rated by you guys buy watching the videos.
first come the pics....the NINJA is on the left of every pic, while the 28xz is on the right....you can see how much lighter weight they made the ninja, and how much smaller the sleeve looks.(the porting on the ninja sleeve was done by me)

The truck looks nice and definately has some power. We will be waiting out the rain delay for the next phase.

decided to mod my crankshaft and send it to RB MODS to get hardened....still working on it and plan to take more material off the left side...i konw it was original designed to be a smooth power band...i wanted it a little more aggressive( not that it wasnt already)...will post updated pics on it later.
