Default Hitec 945 Mg

I'm thinking of getting a Hitec 945MG servo for my T-maxx. Are they much better than the 645MG or not? Anybody who has one give a holler.

I have one and it's going on 3 years old now....never has failed me and I have had it in my Reflex, XXX-NT, XXX-S and now my Savage

Another option for a good servo is the JR Z650M...142 oz\in of torque at 6.0v...little cheaper than the 945MG too but it's not got a coreless motor like the 945 does.

That's a good question. I am not impressed with a new 645 - it is slow. I know the airtronics are good, but pricy.

Default Hitec 945 Mg

skaterdawg2000;

I have had several 625/645 servos and they have all failed prematurely.

The Digital 5925's (same as 945, different Gears) that I own, have been trouble free.

I had the 945MG in a stadium truck and touring car. Traded it to get a 925MG as the torque was way beyond what I would use it for.

Really great servos for the money.

I think I am going to get an Hs945 for my cybermaxx. The 645 is soooo slooooow, .20 sec/60°. The 945 is .12/60 and pretty inexpensive. I have an Airtoinics 94358 in my Storm buggy, but it is overkill - 200 oz, .10/60, and $110.

Is that a direct fit in your Savage?
Thanks.
