Tmaxx Problems. Need help!
 

I have a traxxas tmaxx and for the battery pack on the truck itself, its just the four double a batteries. I put new batteries in it, and the truck sat for a little over a week without being touched. When I turned it on, the batteries where dead. The switch was off. Is this normal or do I have a problem on it?

may have a bad switch or shorted wire or even a broken wire i personally am a fan of the rechargable packs

You may have a prob, I don't remember mine doing that. I'd check wiring out and look for any nicked or bare wire that could lead to a short.

Long term, you'll want to look at a rechargeable NiMh hump pack and maybe a new switch - one that has a separate charge lead so you don't have to open the rx box up anymore, can just connect charger and charge it in the rx box.
