ok i just received this one in the mail. http://www.amainhobbies.com/product_...Header-Tubular But seems like the clip that holds the spring doesnt fit the pull start is in the way am i doing something wrong. I noticed the manifold has to small holes am i not supposed to use the clip on my model?

PULL START?
I have a question why does your traxxas motor have a pull start on it, and you should have mentioned that in you original post. Try to find a pull start freindly manifold for your motor.

i didnt know it would matter. Can i use it without the spring clamp. and just use the holes on the manifold?
#29
You can use the manifold without the flange or modify the flange. The new Platinum header is really the old Big Block header with a smaller port and the flange added. The older BB header was used that way and this one can be as well.

so trim the flange or just use the existing holes on the manifold for the spring?
