Which plug for the MGT ?

I am new to R/C and I started out with an MGT 8. Right now I am running an OS 8 plug in the truck and it seems to be running about 275 to 300. If I change to a different plug, will that help it to run cooler ? As I said, I am new and it could be that my tuning abilities aren't great either. Any help would be greatly appreciated

I always ran the A3 plug in mine and never had a problem and plus they last a long time.
