Default Traxxas MMM System - Are You Joking?

Just went onto Tower Hobbies and came accross the Traxxas MMM System. Not bad for $510 http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...?&I=LXYJJ5&P=7 Spend just over $100 more and you could pick up an E-Maxx with it

Wow! Guess those Traxxas connectors and their fancy esc hold down are uber expensive.....

Well it does come with a 18 tooth pinion, motor plate, and cover

Actually Im board so I called. They said (Deniece) that it was the actual price and not a type o.

They also have the brushless erevo with two traxxas batteries included for $699. Gee I wonder what makes more sence to buy. LOL

The only thing I can think of is the pinion, motor plate and cover, plus from what it looks like is its the sensorsed system, versus the bl erevo having the un sensored system.

Either way, for just a bit over $300 Ill stick with my tekin, and save an extra $200 over the mamba.

that is pretty retarded. ill stick with getting my mmm's off ebay for 2 bills + shipping. I think the mamba motor's with the green can's are much more aesthetically pleasing anyhow.

The motor plate is $9.39 ( http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...?&I=LXVDW7&P=V ) The cover is $3.39 ( http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...?&I=LXVDW5&P=V ) & 18T pinion is $4.79 ( http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...?&I=LXYXJ5&P=7 )

Got no idea on what you are talking about sensored system. Never knew Castle did a sensored 1/8 MMM. Can't see no sensor wires in the photo on Tower.

Sorry - I was being (or trying to be) sarcastic, about the great deal on the sub $20 in accessories.

I believe the new Mamba systems or there is a new version of the mamba max that is sensored. When I looked at the photo on tower, it looked as if there was a sensor wire coming from the esc.

I know they bought out the Mamba Max 1/10 scale as a sensor unit but haven't heard it they are doing it to the Monster Mamba Max. I wouldn't be surprised if they were.
