Default need some advise.....WHICH ONE? A MUGGY,LST OR A LST2?

I am in need of some advise I am looking to build a BRUSHLESS basher mostly offroad, grass, dirt, few jumps here and there, you know the usual, anyhow dont know what to get I am looking to convert either a LOSI MUGGY,LOSI LST or a LOSI LST2 into a brushless powerhouse I will be using a MMM 2200kv with a 6s lipo. I really dont know much about either truck I currenty own a 8ight bugyy and a 8ight truggy but I use them for racing. I would like to stick the the losi line I have had very good luck with them.

what truck do you think will be better?

I got Muggy but I tweaked 2 chassis bashing it around so now that one I use for fun on the track.

I also got an LST that one I use for bashing, it's great. It's pretty durable, not the best for going around the track but its still fun.

Then i also have a Muggified LST2. It's the best of both worlds!! VERY durable, more durable then the LST. LST2's are just more durable then the LST. Then with the Muggy suspension it makes it a lot more nimble, controlable, and predictable on the track. You lose some ground clearance with the Muggy suspension, But it's still pleanty enough for some crazy bashing.

All 3 of these are very hopped up with carbon fiber, hard anodized aluminum and alot of diffrent ods and ends, from years of breaking or tweeking parts.

I would say start off with an LST2. And a foward only conversion kit for the tranny, sense you said it was going to be brushless. Not really sure what else you would need because all of mine are still nitro. I also think the Muggy would be easier to convert to electric over an LST, but the chassis is a weak point when it comes to bashing. Also the stock tires with the Muggy are very big and heavey. They but a lost of stress on the drive train and especialy the diff cups.

I hope that helps..

I dont know that much about losi, though a friend has had a nitiro muggy for nearly 2 years, and has had no issues with it, bashing only.

huh??

I think you meant to say, what is needed?

muggy shocks
muggy shock towers
muggy lower shock mounts

losi discountinued the Muggy so i don't have part#s sorry

you need to take the rear shock towers and A arms and turm them around to clear gas tank. But if your making it electric not sure if that needs to be done.

because I was recently at my lhs and they had 20mm losi wheels/tires on clearance for $25 for a complete set and I bought 10 sets and I have always thought about converting a losi monster truck to brushless, that just sealed the deal for me
