Exclamation Your opinion on the MMM on a Revo??

Well I plan on converting my revo to brushless, and Ive been looking at the MMM V3 and it seems to be a pretty nice system, Im not looking to spend 350$ for the RX8 bu i can find the MMM for pretty cheap on ebay NEW.
What are your likes and dislike of the mmm. And can it easily compete against the RX8's at a club race? What battery should I use with it? You guys can be brutally honest about how you like these.

Honest opinion

At slow speeds the MMM will cog. The Tekin has more tuning options and will run sensored or sensorless, the MMM is only sensorless.

At a club level, if you not racing to pay your bills, and or just having fun, the MMM will work fine.

I bought the Tekin because I had very good experiances with the RS pro, I already owned the Hot wire, and was very happy with all of the options and the on line updates that Tekin offers. - Just personal preference.

And i race at club races, for fun and to win some money, but my track is about a medium sized track. Id say roughtly the track is 150x75ft Im just guessing around there, so a mmm would be suitable?
heres a pic of it

The RS pro is designed for 1/10th scale 540 motors.

The RX8 is a high voltage system designed for the larger 1/8th scale motors.

I saw the conversion. Im not familar with the Feigao motor. I'm far from a pro, but in the 20+ years that I have been in r/c, more so in the past 3 to 4 years, I have kept the same brand motor and esc, regardles of the brand.

When I used Novak esc's, I used Novak motors. With Tekin I use Tekin motors. Its just personal preferance.

If your going to use the MMM, use the Neu/castle motors. They were designed to work together - so there is no guess work.

Thats up to you, your preference and your budget.

Just get a high C rating battery.

I have had very good luck with Max Amps dual 6500mah 60c packs, though many will argue that they are over priced. Im happy though.

are we the only 2 on the MT forum?

???

I have sold good ones, but I am an honest seller.

I have always been afraid to buy used electronics or batteries from anyone.
