Just thinking about it, you may want to post in the wanted to buy area, and see if anyone bought a new bl erevo or emaxx and pulled the MMM system out.

Many times people will buy the complete bl trucks and sell off the electronics and 2.4g radio, to help off set the cost of their purchase, if they already own other electronics.

I did that with mine, but I bought the brushed version. The stock am radio and brushed motors are kind of on the crappy side, performance wise. You wouldnt want those.

Default brushless revo

I ran a brushless revo all summer, and it was awesome. Used the MMM 2200, with a 20th pinion, center diff, 5000mah 30C batteries. the MMM runs cool, has loads of power and is beyond relaible. Had two other friends running tekins this summer and both had issues with either motors or ESC's. Castle may not be the top racing system, but he most reliable!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If your going with the mod 1, try 18 pinion 40 spur. It will still have a lot of torque with more top end than you probally need.

All I can say is if you are ready to drop 1000$ in your mt, then go with the tekin, the tekin rx8 will last you maybe one race. Allow me to save you lots of money and lean you towards the MMM

How about user error.

I have been in rc since 92. Its highly unlikely that someone would burn up 4 esc and two motors, unless they are doing something totally incorrectly.

It has to be operator error, getting the gear wet, or just completely not knowing what they are doing.

Becides the above, why, if this other person, was burning up esc's, did they keep buying 4 of the same one, over and over?

First you said $1000 in a race, then you said over 4 races.

If you like the MMM, thats cool. Recomend it too. Theres nothing wrong with it at all. It just a little trollish to jump on and throw out such a blanket, un realistic statement.

Either way.....

Well I doubt it was user error, he owns the LHS and is almost undeafeated in VTA, He knows what he is doing trust me. As for the whole troll thing, your completly wrong about that, I have always been on the mt forum

Oh and he kept trying the tekin because it was the best thing out there, its sensored an smooth and the track we run on offroad is short and has alot of turns

Any more Questions I can anwser

Show me where I said this, I clearly said if your ready to drop $1000 in your mt go ahead and go with the tekin. The tekin will last you maybe one race.

How do you spend $1000 in one race on a esc

It wouldn’t multi quote that much but this is a cut and paste of what you asked for.

It had to be user error or he wouldnt have had to buy a new esc. Tekin has a warranty program. The only thing I've heard or seen go bad on a Tekin is the motors breaking, but Tekin has fixed that problem.
