Agreed, what you are doing is just exploiting a system designed to help us hobbyists, it's bs like that which will turn HPI from good customer service to a place where they have to be on guard for freeloaders such as yourself.
I've never had an issue with my stock diffs, NEVER! But I BOUGHT the upgrade diffs as I figured I was doing a rebuild and I may as well bulletproof it while I am at it.
So who have you shafted so far? SMC for lipos because you ran them below 3v a cell despite me showing you proof that you NEED the LVC to be 3.5v a cell on these things.
HPI for x number of conversations which you then record (with permission or not?) and post on 17 different forums word for bloody word, including your own stupid and overly paranoid questions.
You then hear things on forums you don't like and then post it up on other forums to get some validation from people proving you right and them wrong, despite raw data which sort of outweighs all this benchtop theorising you buy into.
You're a disgrace. I hope next time you call HPI they tell you to f... off, because you've done nothing but take advantage of a system designed to help hobbyists. Do you park in disabled parking bays too?

If he is telling the truth 100% here he did nothing wrong!!! He says he simply told them he was concerned about blowing diffs and they offered to send him upgraded ones. How is that wrong?

he has done this before, also he knew before he pickup the phone what would happen, there was a post at savage central from a guy who blew his diffs and hpi replaced them with the new ones... would you be "concerned" if you had been running your diffs since april without issue? I think not.
this guy is an attention seeking Twit, and boy he got mine this time
he took advantage, then posted all over the internet(this exact thread was deleted by mods on at least two other forums) about it and opened the door for many other twits to do the same.

+1 on J_Man and nexxus.
The wrongful thing he did is mentioning "jackasses" for those who unfairly taking advantage of HPI's customer service. He himself got a set for free even if his is still good. Isn't that taking advantage? This is his post before editing it:
"In an effort to help maintain HPI's awesome customer service and product support, I have removed this post to help prevent the "jackasses" on the web from unfairly taking advantage of HPI's good nature to provide help and support for their customers. If anyone wishes to discuss this nature further, please PM. Otherwise, I will only pass along the information in the first post as I see fit
Again, major kudos and thanks to HPI for their help and support! I do not wish good intentions of mine to go bad and result in HPI being taken advantage of. "
You guys should read what he is posting in RCuniverse now:
Thats how I feel but some people have already labeled me a "crook" and "tool" for simply asking HPI what my options are for my product that has a very potential weak component. The guys in the RCtech forums are the worst. Think i'm done going there anyway, most of them are complete ****s.
Seems he can't take the heat lately . That is what you get when you are not careful when posting something in the internet.
