if it is geared to go 70 you will burn those motors up. Safely geared, it should go around 55. Y do this, when for the price of two vxl systems could by you a tekin rx8 or mamba monster system that will be more efficient and fast?

I'd stay away from the Novak but the Monster Max systems are awesome and if you have got the cash I would definitely recommend the Tekin systems as well.

Novak HV 4.5

Ive been using the novak 4.5 for a over 6 months with no problems. It was a good price at the time so went for it.
Easy to fit and set up. Geared correctly gives no problems

+1 i would get a mamba monster and by the way why would you want to make an emaxx go 70mph? that is just pointless it is a basher

Any 1/8 scale brushless system that has a 4S max input and needs 2 fans to keep from thermalling is a horrible investment in my opinion. I am glad you have had yours for over 6 months and I hope you get 6 more out of it.
I also can't stand the fact WHEN they burn up you send it back for a "new" one and you get a refurbished POS instead of a real new one like CC and Tekin give you.

I agree with this as well.
If you want 70mph, get a touring car. Any more than 45-55mph in a MT is just silly. That snap off the line torque is what you should be lookin for!
