Would this be an undergearing?
A have an e-maxx waiting to be run
But my motor needs a pinion. I have recently done a dewalt motor conversions but I have no pinion. The motor requires a 5mm pinion and I seem to have found one for 32 pitch (mod 0.8) spur gears.
Traxxas makes a 18t 5mm pinion for the e-revo brusless edition and a 14t model for the summit. Would the 14t be to low for a 12v dewalt and create motor heat problems from high rpms and low speed? Would the 18t still do wheelies and have a decent speed?
