Dangit Jerome, you just dont listen do you....
That spring from the factory hooks under the "fuel nipple" by the hsn on the carb. BUT, it doesnt have to be in that spot specifically! A lot of people hook them to something further back so it has more "pull" when closing the carb(like someone did to your friends truck).
It can go wherever one wants to put it as long as it's pulling the carb closed adequately and not over stretching the spring.
