Default Traxxas 5460 vs. 5460x

Question for all you Traxxas guys and gals out there.

What is the difference between the Traxxas 5460 and 5460X shocks for the revo and several other models of vehicles?

According to Tower, the 5460x shocks come w/o springs, have teflon coated shock bodies and shafts, 2 bottles of silicone oil and a wrench.

The 5460 shocks are alum, also with no springs, has bottle of silicone oil and a wrench.

Looks like only diff is teflon coating on shock body and shock shaft. Says nothing about being larger diameter.

I just wanted to make sure. I plan to run them on my 1/8 scale Late Model.

I just want something nice.

do yourself a favor and get the revo platinum shocks. They have the variable valve pistons and are the best on the market (being that they are already tuned for handling with springs and oil)
