E-Revo Body Roll
 

So I took my new E-Revo Brushless addition out and it seems to have a lot of body roll when I corner. To the point of the truck actually rolling over if I corner too fast. I plan to use the truck as a basher not really planning on racing. Would the Long travel rockers and springs help me out at all or would it make it worse?

body roll is only possible on cars. its when the body pulls the frame up in corners. cant happen in RC unless you have a 20lb body

long travel rockers will make it worse

try some sway bars.

i have a revo 3.3 and i just put the stiff springs on that came with it and kept the regular rockers on it and it made it a lot better. havnt taken it to the track yet bc its too muddy but it'll work good. maybe you should try that and see how it does.

Throw on either the Traxxas or Tekno anti-sway bar kits. Makes a huge difference in handling even if you are only bashing.

I will have to get the sway bars then. Will they still work with the long travel rockers? I plan to use those just because I will be jumping a lot.

The sway bars really help alot. P3 rockers are mainly for flatter tracks and can get your truck out of shape faster on ruff tracks.

i had the same issue with my revo 3.3. I installed the swaybar kit and it helped alot. The install was not that bad. Some see that you have to drill out the lower rockers in the rear but its really easy and takes no time to do. They include the 2.5mm drill bit and the template. Just add a drill and you can put 2.5mm holes anywhere you want on your truck!! J/K but its honestly really easy. So when you get the sway bar kit if you get the Traxxas kit dont get discouraged.

yea i did it in 20min. I actually use a front tekno sway bar and traxxas rear.

what rear bar do you use? I have been trying to figure out how to keep the inside front wheel from lifting when i am on the throttle in a turn. I was thinking of using the black bar in the rear but someone told me to just use stiffer springs and heavier shock oil.

you want the rear stiffer and the front softer for better turning response. I use variable rate pistons all around orange springs with 40wt front gold springs with 40wt rear. Black rear bar.

The long travel rockers definitely make it worse. I changed to those and immediately changed it back. I would suggest going with heavier shock oil if you don't want to install the sway bars.

get some p2 rockers (but don't use the red spacers on the pushrods) and put the upper arms in the lower holes (look at the manual, coz you need to fiddle with some other stuff at the same time).

That will make it handle completely flat.
